Jim T. Taylor Joins Greater Yield as Principal

Stevie Award Winner Adds Leadership, Global Management Expertise

DALLAS– February 13, 2012 – One of the nation’s top experts on management leadership is now helping Greater Yield to lead other organizations through complex transformation and growth.

Jim T. Taylor has been named a principal in Greater Yield, a Dallas-based provider of customized enterprise transformation solutions. A renowned expert in turnaround management and leadership-driven solutions, Taylor has led numerous companies through successful restructurings and high growth phases on a complex global scale.

Before joining Greater Yield, Taylor served as president of Edge Adhesives, where he led the company out of bankruptcy and into its highest profitability in more than 30 years. He also served as the chief executive officer and president of Thomas Group, a publicly held international consulting company listed on the NASDAQ. Under his leadership, he doubled the company’s revenues, eliminated debt, built a strong bottom line and paid stockholder dividends for the first time in the company’s history.

In addition to several other c-level management positions, Taylor was the founder and president of Elcon Industries, a holding company in the automotive industry that grew to $175 million in just seven years. Because of his ability to turn both profitable and underperforming companies into strong and successful enterprises, Taylor received the International Stevie Award for Best Turnaround Executive and the Jenkins & Gilchrist CEO of the Year Award in 1996.

Debbie Womack, founding principal of Greater Yield, described Taylor’s decision to join the firm as a major opportunity for Greater Yield’s clients and a significant achievement for her entire team. “I don’t know of anyone who’s better qualified to lead companies through the processes that are truly required to implement change successfully in a highly challenging environment,” she said. “Jim has an amazing track record in providing the kind of leadership it takes to deliver outstanding ROI, and his expertise will play a pivotal role in our strategic growth and expansion.”

A licensed CPA in the State of Texas, Taylor served three years in the U.S. Army and completed his graduate work at California State Polytechnic University in Engineering and Accounting. He served three years on the Dallas Rotary Club Foundation Board and is currently a member of the board of directors of the Rotary Club of Dallas.

“I not only wanted to be part of the Greater Yield team because of their senior-level experience and capabilities, but also because of their commitment to results. As a team, we can provide clients with even greater ROI than any of us could on our own,” Taylor said.
