Greater Yield Takes Home Silver in 2012 Davey Awards

Company’s website recognized by International Academy of the Visual Arts

DALLAS – Nov. 13, 2012 – Greater Yield, a Dallas-based provider of business transformation solutions, has been named a Silver Award winner of the Davey Awards in the Professional Services category for its website. The Davey Awards are sponsored by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA) and honor small firms, agencies and companies who derive creativity from big ideas rather than big budgets.

The design of Greater Yield’s website is based on a “decision tree” centered on a core principal and branching out to reveal other influences and decisions made by a leader, or in this case, a website visitor, said Debbie Womack, principal of Greater Yield.

“The images used represent ‘transformation’ in one way or another – caterpillar to a butterfly or acorn to a tree– to show that Greater Yield is also about transformation in the business world,” Womack said. “The overall design illustrates what makes this company different than other business solution firms.”

The Davey Awards is judged and overseen by the IAVA, a 200+ member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media.

“This year’s winners truly represent a smart, nimble approach to creativity and embody the quick thinking, resourceful nature that make small agencies so unique,” said Linda Day, executive director of the IAVA.
